First RP Member Meet-up: July 13, 2013 Coffee Bean Ortigas

Greetings and salutations to the very handsome and beautiful people of Read Philippines.

The idea of members meeting up to

hang out,
get to know each other,
discuss an agreed upon book,
talk about the forum
lend/swap books with each other
or all of the above

has been mentioned on more than a couple of occasions.

Personally, I'm all for this idea. We are, unfortunately, a dying breed and I think it would be nice if we could just stare lovingly into each other's eyes. Just kidding. I think it would be nice if we could do at least one of the things listed above.

And so, I would like to respectfully ask the members to sound off on this idea. Let me know if you're for it or not.

If you are interested, please jot down your stomping grounds. For example, mine would be Manila (anywhere along Espana blvd and Taft avenue) and Quezon City (Quezon ave, SM North EDSA/Trinoma). ^^ This will make sorting out the logistics a little easier.
