Hi Forum Members,

My name is Trisha and I'm new to this forum. Actually my first time to join a forum for book lovers and readers. I am currently collecting new and second hand books.

New chapter of my life where I choose books over shoes, clothes and bags :)

I am welcome for book suggestions. I would love to here from all of you.

Cheerios!

Hi joesel,

Thank you for the welcome.

I'm not really particular with the genre. If you can see, my book collection has no particular genre. Maybe books that are easy to read, feel good something like that.

welcome trisha! a lot of cecilia ahern in your collection. never read any of her works yet. something easy to read? i would suggest john green's the fault in our stars. you might enjoy the humor and angst too :) i've read some paulo coelho and mitch albom too. the pilgrimage and the alchemist are good works too.

Hi Bagamundo,

Thanks for the welcome.

Yup! I love Cecelia Ahern since P.S I love you. I love how she describes feelings, she makes you feel it too! (if you know what I mean.. hihihi) Thanks for the recommendation, I'll take note of that.

I'm new to ebooks too, though I'd still prefer physical books. Love the smell and the experience of flipping the pages :)

hei trisha! rp loves to have u here! :)
me, to liked ps. i love you the book, much much better than the movie. since ure into light ones, try the classic love story of erich segal. light reading pero big on emotions, in my opinion. paulo coelho's by the river piedra, and dear john by nicholas sparks are some of my favorites.
makulit din ang confessions of a shopaholic series. nice reads din ang lahat ng books ng mortal instruments and divergent series.
ive read neil gaiman's ocean at the end of the lane, i will try more of his works soon.
kiterunner, princess and thousand splendid suns were eye-openers as well as book thief.
ang dami, sa sobra, hindi ko maisip lahat ngyn. hihi

Hi Arjaye,

I appreciate the welcome :D

I agree, most novel-based movies are not as good as the book. And it's kinda disappointing  I'll take note of those recommendations. I was hoping I could drop by the National Book Store Warehouse Sale this weekend but I have to go somewhere else  I bet there are a lot of good finds there for as low as Php50 per book.

My to-go-to is Booksale! Most SM Malls have it. Kilala na nga ako ng saleslady dun hahaha... She even told me kung kelan darating new arrivals nila. I can get Php10 novels from that store. Most of my Cecelia Ahern books are less than Php180. Just waiting na lang for the two books and it's complete na :D
