The Unicorn!!!! seriously i don't remember this in the movie...LOL! why???? it is the mythical beast that i felt can be found and exist in a faerie land. There should be more of them :) like a herd.

Well, since unicorn is a very special creature eg. harry potter and other stories. So they may be on the verge of extinction too in faerie land.

Question: Have you done anything foolish for the sake of loving someone? whehhehe

@malot...i think when you love someone there are times you are tempted to do foolish things for your special person because he/she becomes your reason, not just for the sake of it but you are compelled/inspired to do stuff you don't normally do for that person ...but i'm generally a cautious person so not much foolishness hehehe!

1. I think Tristran is a nice person, friendly, and too trusting that’s why I think he is easily persuaded. And stupidly in love!
True, the star definitely has an attitude. I laughed when she dropped the “F” word when she fell. And I think that makes her human.
2. The witches were so ewwwieee with those entrails and all.
3. Atlantis, perhaps.
4. I don’t remember except for the one who was shouting about the news. Maybe any reading materials then.
5. Have not read any fairy tales but I watched a lot of them growing up. The witch reminds me of all other witches in The Little Mermaid (Ursula), Snow white, Sleeping Beauty, and the evil step mother of Cinderella. Witches are always mean in fairy tales. Haha
6. The little man. I kinda like him.

@arjaye...hahaha! that is a great way to love...parang exciting din...

anyways, here are my thoughts on the ff. chapter/s:

Chap. 6 ...What the Tree said :)
that was a very helpful talking tree...a former nymph...ok her story came from a greek mythology
the witch queen have come prepared for her sinister plan for Star O.O i was dreading this part.
Tristan hitched a ride with Primus. things are definitely coming together now when three separate points are going to converge soon!

Chap.7...At the Sign of the Chariot?
OMG!!! not the freaking unicorn...all i can say was that it was a deadly mess huhuhu!
but it was a very close call for Tristan and the star. waaaaahhhhh! this wasn't a pleasant chapter to read :(

Chapter 6. I think tristran's dream about victoria was funny.
Chapter 7. This chapter was thrilling. U got the witch, u got primus, the star, and tristran all together. I was saddened by the unicorn. I think tristran was clever to reuse the candle.
Chapter 8. Finally we now know the name of the star. I like her name.
And there's Capt. Johannes of Perdita, who hunts lightning. If this is a real profession, even if the pay is high, i aint gonna do it. It may be fun but it's scary!

Hello fellow RPers!

Di ako a sure if I can go online on the 29th, so here are the questions to the second half of the book.

1. In the first part we saw a naive, wool-headed and self-involved Tristran. What are your thoughts about Tristran and his personal journey now that the book has ended?
2. The star, who we now know as Yvaine, also experienced a transformation of her own. So, same question, what are your thoughts about Yvaine and the journey she took?
3. The villains of the story came to interesting ends, but not necessarily expected ones. How do you feel about Neil Gaiman’s handling of the Stormhold brothers (who had remained at the end of Part 1) and the two witches, the one Lilim and Ditchwater Sal?
4. Were there any descriptions, characters, settings, plot threads that stood out to you personally during this second half of the book?
5. If you have seen the movie, did it bother you to see a lot of changes in the movie? Did you or did you not like the movie? Which did you prefer, movie or book?
6. If Gaiman were to return to Wall/Faerie, would you take another journey there? If so, are there any adventures hinted at in Stardust that you would like to see Neil expand on?
7. Your overall thought(s) on the book.
