The Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell :) I have the illustrated hardbound edition :D Couldn't put it down, I remember I read it until 3 am :!:

Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney! I LOVE this book - read it to my son every night when he was younger - the edges are really worn out na, hehehe

The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams. A simple and touching story about a toy rabbit who came to life.

Some of the Goosebumps books by R.L. Stine. These books gave me my interest to read :)

This one is a smart, funny, and a story-to-come-back-to kind of a book. It is fun reading it and it makes me feel like a child again. :)
