Does the lack of responses mean that no one else has read this?

I really hope not.

The Chaos Walking Series starts with the Knife of Never Letting Go. How do I begin to convince you to buy and read these books. Hmmm

It's gonna take some getting use to. That is the first thing you have to know. The author uses a slang of sorts. The dog, is probably one of the best canine creations I have met inside the world of fiction. Instead of revolving around love of another person, saving that person, mushy crappy stuff, this story is driven by a clear and present danger. Also, the plot revolves around the development of a boy, his relationships with others and the world.

A story set in a new colonized world, a dystopian fiction story that isn't what it seems to be. Multi layered and faceted.

Well worth your time and money.

Buy it.
Rent it.
Borrow it.
Read it.

:)

Hear, hear! I read this series last month and I still haven't moved on! I couldn't stop crying for almost an hour after reading the last book.
As much as I don't want this to go "mainstream" (it's inevitable, really, there's going to be a film out next year, I think), but more people should read this series.
Really well worth your time and money, though I read it digitally, for free. But I'm going to have the new UK editions by next month, hopefully.
