Greetings to everyone...

I encountered this forum while searching for Free Comic Books Day articles. I am into Green Lantern Comic Books but I also enjoy reading a good book once in a while. I like reading books from Paulo Coehlo and Robert Kiyosaki. I also enjoyed reading some christian books.

Welcome to RP, Green Blogger! :D

I like comic books too but I don't focus on a particular character. :3 I did enjoy what I saw of the Blackest Night and Brightest Day arcs though. I'll plow through the entire lot one day.

I hope you'll come to like it here. Feel free to browse and join discussions that call to you.

See you around~

Hi Green Blogger! Welcome to RP! :D

I did read comics when i was younger. Archie Comics to be exact, it's not really very close to your green lantern comics huh? :)

Hope you'll like it here in RP. You'll find lots of great people to share your love for books with! :D
I know there's a forum here just especially for comics and graphic novels, you could start from there. I'll see from you soon!

Hi Green Blogger! Welcome to RP.

I have read a few Coehlo books. By far, my favorite is The Devil and Miss Prym.

Have fun here in RP. Feel free to join the threads here.

Thanks for the welcome Jem,

As a kid I used to get just any comic books that I could get, X-men, Superman, Batman, etc... But now I focus on the Green Lantern. Heck, if I can afford it I'll get and read as much comic books that I can. (Well, I'll get those titles that I am interested in, LOL)...

I have the main story arc of the Blackest Night and have yet to read the tie-in stories from the other titles. I also yet to get myself a Brightest Day graphic novel. But as I have learned, that story was more of a DC Universe story with not much focus on the Green Lanterns except for those that were featured on the title.

Thanks again for the welcome. =)

Hi MissRed,

So far I have read the 'Alchemist' and "The Aleph'. Among the two I like the 'Alchemist' more. The 'Aleph' to me was more serious in terms of story. Now, I am interested in getting and reading 'Manuscripts found in Accra'. Looks pretty interesting.

Thanks for the Welcome... =)

Hi mstessagray,

I did read some archie comics before. I love reading just any comic books (even comic strips) and Archie comics were no exception. It was light and funny and that made it enjoyable to read. I liked it when he was still in college and dealing problems between Betty and Veronica. =).

Thanks you for the welcome.

You are most welcome. :D I have a couple of the tie-ins. Do you prefer getting individual issues or the paperback/hardbound compilations? Sorry, I don't really know what they're called. :P

Also, Marvel or DC? :D

Hey Jem, sorry for the late reply. I am having trouble with my computer...

I would prefer getting the single issues especially the new ones to keep myself updated with what is going on with the titles that I am reading. As of now I am strictly on the main Green Lantern title. I do also collect paperback or graphic novels but only the softbound ones because they are cheaper.

I am more of DC right now, but as a kid I was a fan of the X-men... :D

Quite alright. :D I hope your PC's all better now.

I tend to get my hands on the paperbacks as well. :P I'm not too good at waiting so I go for finished story arcs. Lame, I know.

DC, ei? Good choice! ;) Batman takes the highest podium in my book but that's just me.

Humor me another question, will you? If you were to be a lantern, which corps would you belong to?
