The known world by Edward P. Jones in preparation for his visit here this week! I think I like this better than Junot Diaz's The Brief Wondrous Life.... but the story has yet to pick up....

hello! its nice to know another reader have read this...have you read the complete bridgerton series of ms. quinn? i love her works. its witty and humorous..and not always about love at first sight for both part of the main character..sometimes love comes softly. i suggest you read the rest of the series..the duke and i, the viscount who loved me, to sir phillip with love, it's in his kiss, romancing mr. bridgerton (one of my fave in this series), when he was wicked, and the last one was "on the way to the wedding". i don't know if i got that in the correct order.but do check them out they are all great read!

Number Four, Six and Sam are on the run and the mogadorians are hot on their trail. Number four is next on the "chopping block" so I can't wait to finish the book.

One of the best book I've read. I can't wait for the third book 8-)

so far so good...

for me, i dont mind if Isaacson doesn't like Jobs .... I just want to know his story..

as far as I can read, he is not that nice person that people may admire. Behind that face is a shrewd man and CEO that can scare the hell out of anyone.

i am just amazed how jobs rose from being a college drop out, to a hippie up to a millionaire at 25. Being on the right place, the right environment, the right time, and the right friends really pays a lot.

its an action packed sci fi series... i am not sure if a lot of people will be up to it.... i made a description in the sci fi section if you want to read...

its like a young group of XMEN being hunted down by some alien... something like that...

hopefully the 2nd movie (if there will be any) will show more action and adventure....
