the book is quite interesting... but the text is quite challenging because it leans toward Old English :)

About a young bride Emma Bovary who finds herself unhappy in her marriage and longs for something more than her provincial life - So far so good, it's interesting the way it's written, though i'm reading the translation by Lydia Davis....supposed to be one of the very first "realistic" fiction ever written such that when it was published many women believed they were Emma....
