And I'm back from my hiatus. I'm so so so left behind already on my reading. I have like dozens on my shelf for my to-read list and also dozens of ebooks that I just got. =____= The agony of having a lot of books to read but you don't have that much time. And so, I'm trying to maximize whatever time I have. Currently I am reading The Dead Zone by Stephen King and Miss Peregrine's House of Peculiar Children on the sidelines. And at the office, I listen to the audiobook of Neil Gaiman's Stardust. Now that's time management!
“How wrong to have been so negative, how wrong to have been so gloomy, how wrong to have run away from life, how wrong to have said no, again and again, instead of yes. ” — Jonathan Franzen
I am currently reading The End of Your Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe. This is a story of a sick mother and son who enjoys reading and created their own book club with just the two of them as members. So far so good. I guess this will give me alot of feels after I finish it.
I am currently reading "A" is for Alibi by Sue Grafton. It's the first of the Kinsey Millhone mystery series. I always see this series whenever I visit my favorite used book store. The series uses each letter of the alphabet and a word that starts with that letter which I guess will be used to describe where the story will revolved. I've been wanting to buy one but I have reservations because I really want to start with the first in the series. And upon seeing the first in the series at my used bookstore, I immediately grabbed it and bought it. I f I'll enjoy it, I'll continue buying the next in the whole series (the last one in the series is "W' for Wasted, I have a long way to go in case! )
