@laila - yes i really like the perception and insight about the characters. Its always something i look for in a book - deep character development and yes mrs bennett is a sneaky one, hehe!

So sometimes i had difficulty trying to get what they really mean for there are some English terms that i have to look up because Austen is a darn good author. But anyways, Mrs. Bennet's strategy worked too well that Jane end up getting sick and Jane visited and both were forced to stay in Mr. Bingley's residence till Jane is well enough to go home. And ugh! i feel bad for Jane being stuck there with some stuck up people maybe except for Mr. Bingley who i feel genuinely like her sister Jane. I think he adores her. Some characters here are being manipulative and i guess it's not polite to call their bullsh*t out in a middle of a meal..lol!

Now i think Ms. Austen does have a sense of humor.
Reaction : WTH? REally? *snort* * * face palm* !
Btw...thanks to admin for this very simple advice of posting...sorry i didn't manage to work that one out immediately...i'm no tech savvy that's for sure.

But then I would like to get back to Chapter 34 (in my ebook copy anyway)
"In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you." ~ unexpected Mr. Darcy is unexpected
Color me very surprised because even though if i'm familiar with the film version I did not expect that this is the the scene where it all went down in the actual book. It was like out of nowhere! I am pretty sure Lizzy herself have no idea or whatsoever. I was not feeling any strong vibe from him in the book that his feeling were that strong for Lizzy. There were hints and maybe instances that he took notice of Lizzy but maybe Mr. Darcy just have a very good poker face.
Anyways, this proposal is more disastrous and rather painful than laughable compared to Mr. Collins'. Lizzy is quick to judge though, she see what she wants to see and believe what she wants to believe. Eh! they are both at fault...its just a matter of can they get past that and move forward.
