Good day to all!

My name's Jay and I'm a biblioholic.

I used to work in Manila (I decided to move back to my hometown [Naga] last 2009) and I really, really miss hanging out in bookshops. I love to read fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry. I also collect graphic novels from independent publishers (mostly titles from Top Shelf and Pantheon) and anything written by Alan Moore.

These days I'm looking for books about Bikol or anything written by Bikolanos.

Cheers.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Actually we have around 3 Booksales and a National Bookstore. However, the latter doesn't really carry a wide selection (usually textbooks and random titles, they do stock a lot of books by Murakami though). And I miss those stores which have chairs/reading area like Powerbooks and A Different Bookstore. :D

Welcome, Jay! :) Have you tried reading the books of Abdon Balde? He's a good Bikolano author. :)
