Hardbacks din sa akin. I dont care how bulky it is or how much space it can consume. Or kahit mangalay na braso ko sa kakadala. But ang problem talaga is financial. Pero pag talaga gusto ko yung book, as much as possible hardcovers talaga. Tama si rabbitin, yung fonts, spacing, better book spine support and the quality of the paper.

Hays kung mayaman lang talaga tayo. Hahahha

for "ilocano" purposes i go usually with paperbacks. BUt HBs are better, MS mAlot is right even if you struggle just holding it, if you really love the book, it will not matter. LAst two books i bought ,with our independence day in mind, i bought When the elephants dance and Before Ever After in HBs.

Haha! Ako din, wala akong problema sa bigat, pera lang yung main consideration ko. Kaya tuwang-tuwa ako kapag nakaka-timing ako ng harbound na mura, and in very good condition pa; sa mga bargain bins. :D

Oh I hope you get to enjoy your two hardbound book purchases. I think I have only about three Brand New Hardbound book purchases. Now I only buy USED Hardbound books. Nagtitipid. :)

But I agree, if you really love the book, it won't matter. There would be times where you just want to know what happens and couldn't wait for the paperback release of a certain title. :D

(hehehe)

And again tama ka MS. Malot..but my nana (ilokano of nanay) she's the one who encouraged me into reading. it started with the funny komiks, then liwayway, then the bible (tagalog and ilokano), then RIzal by zaide after that she let me roam freely to discover what i really like.

only problem, she always want to clean my room, and my finished komiks, magazine, books end up burning with mga anik anik na dahon sa backyard hehe

awwww books being burned??? I feel my heart aching upon reading that.

Yup! From funny komiks, kahit di pa ako marunong magbasa noon, then Liwayway, then small books for children. Buti na lang may pinsan ako na reader din, dun ako lagi sa bahay nila at nagbabasa.

Never tried amazon yet. Puro ako ebay, I'll check the amazon's site.

Aray ko naman.

Pero grabe ang mahal naman ng shipping fee sa amazon. Parang ganun lang din kapag bumili ako sa national bookstore. hehhehe
