Trailer # 2
How AWESOME are their costumes??? especially the ones worn by Katniss and Peeta :)
And Effie's face was just so heartbreaking during the reaping :(
And cutie Finnick!
*sigh* i know this is not exactly a happy story in this installment but at least i can look forward to of the costume designs, for I could never really picture it that vibrant and flamboyant in my imagination.

THE HUNGER GAMES : CATCHING FIRE MOVIE!!!
Has anyone here seen it already??? It was freaking AMAZING!!! it was so much better than the first movie. Everything in the Arena was just as i imagined it to be it was so intense. The flow of the script was great . All the important points in the first part of the book was spot on in the movie. I was still wondering about Peeta's leg and other scenes of him and Katniss but it's okay because it didn't ruin anything in the movie. All the cast were great and almost spot on. I even like Johanna played by Jena Malone she was almost as badass as Katniss here. The elevator scene was just priceless!! i was so happy they thought to include that part coz it was deliciously scandalous! lol! Haymitch, Peeta and Katniss' expressions were like i said priceless! lol!
Jennifer L. carried Katniss' character so flawlessly...up to the end till she realized that she played a bigger role in a rebellion that she never knew. The costumes were a feast to the eyes! There were heart breaking moments like CINNA! I don't remember that Katniss was supposed to witness his fate. Effie continues to do what she does best for her victor team and i truly admire her resilience and dedication to do all that she can for her team with pride and even sympathy despite everything else in her outward appearance is all capitol.
I am so going to buy a DVD copy when it comes out.

DON'T MISS THIS ONE OUT ON THE BIG SCREEN! even if you have read the book some moments will still catch you by surprise :)

and FINALLY FINALLY i have seen the movie! watched it last night and goodness it was so so way better than the first movie. im so Team Peeta . <3
the acting was great in all scenes, i so love how the game arena was done, finnick was charming and of course Katniss' gowns were FABULOUS - especially the wedding gown then Katniss did some turning and the gown was set on fire revealing a beautiful mockingjay gown - GENIUSLY executed, it brought some chills when the tributes hold hands - it makes you hate the capitol more, and there was Effie who represent so much what the people of Capitol looks like, yet she showed sympathy for the tributes and built alliance with them was amazing and heart-warming, i love the kissing scenes of Peeta and Katniss although it was fake on Katniss side (yet) and authentic on Peeta's side, i love the scene where Katniss addressed Rue's family in the Victory tour and my list of favorite scenes can go on until tomorrow. :)

it was the best 2 hours and 30 minutes of my life this week.

@laila - yea, the elevator scene was priceless! :) love reliving the face of Peeta that time. :)
i love Johanna there, her bangs somewhat reminds of Katy Perry for some reasons. :)

watched the movie last weekend. yes, and ganda nga! I also love the wedding gown, especially the way it turned into the mockingjay dress. I didn't like Johanna in the book, but the actress who portrayed her did a pretty good job. You could understand why she's got an unpredictable, crazy character -- because all her loved ones are dead </3

excited na ako for the 3rd movie! I hope they make a good tune for the Hanging Tree song! :D

@summer...oo nga very pissed off talaga yung character ni Johanna...like life is so unfair to her!
@joesel...i got teary eyed nga when Katniss made her speech for Rue's family
@bagamundo...yeah me too for awhile there i can see similar feature of Kristen Stewart on Jena Malone aka Johanna. They both have that certain spunk in their demeanor. But i think Jena is not that awkward in public unlike k. Stewart in real life.

anyways, do you guys remember that scene wherein Katniss was frantically begging for Finnick to revive Peeta after being electricuted from a force field inside the arena. She kissed Peeta in that part and i said aloud in the movie house that kiss is for real! and not for the audience sake. lol!
Then i remember old Megan sacrificing herself by going towards the poisonous fumes/fog so that they will not be dragged down by her. my bff(haven't read the book) who was sitting beside me wanted to scream NOOOO! at that part...and my bff keep elbowing me that they gotta ran fast as they can away from the fog!i told her they will but i was at the edge of my seat as well coz it sounds painful! i was even holding my breath during that scene feeling that i don't want to breathe any of that nasty fog!LOL!
Thank you to Director Francis Lawrence for capturing the essence of this book on screen :)
