Is poetry part of your reading list? They’re not exactly page-turners or bestsellers, but poems provide a different kind of reading pleasure. Here’s a random list from our bookshelf:

Mary Oliver
Seamus Heaney
Muriel Rukeyser
Galway Kinnell
Rebecca Anonuevo
Benilda Santos
Rio Alma
Allan Popa
Maningning Miclat
Luisa Igloria

Do share yours :)

I have a couple, some of which are for review.

Two ones of my priority list right now are:

The Last Selchie Child by Jane Yolen

Songs for the Devil and Death by Hal Duncan

Interesting list, Flipside. I liked Jane Yolen's take on fairy tales in "Fat is not a fairy tale" (http://www.loc.gov/poetry/180/056.html).
