Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas
Genre : YA psychological thriller, romance
Rating: 5/5

Again the author loves to f*cked with my mind...the end had me going wha...what just happened? seriously never underestimate certain characters here. The approach in this book was certainly different than what the author did with Dangerous Girls...this one was more into characterization...how twisted you can get if no one is looking *evil laugh*

i didn't know it was a fanfic! oh my goodness!
I really thought this was purely erotica but it wasn't, which is a good thing as I am not into pure erotica.
LOL moment talaga si Clive at Purina. Hahahahaha!!
Simon is hot like freakin' hot.

50 shades by EL james was also a twilight fanfic right? Now which of these two is better? Have not read 50 shades and no plans as of now of reading this.

yup 50 shades was also a fanfic...but in my opinion Wallbanger is much better written...50 shades although can be engrossing and much more darker and not exactly funny like Wallbanger is loaded with adjectives...you can't believe the many words to describe certain things/characters/actions its bordering in being ridiculous...i did enjoyed it in fanfic form but i never thought to buy the published book coz i think it's not worth it...i don't mind if someone give me one...hehehe.

Amazing book. I never thought that I would enjoy this book. This is a story of a boy who thinks that he's life is not so extra ordinary but things changed after the unusual death of his grandfather that he witnessed and that he's the only one who knows the true cause which led him to visit a mysterious island allowing him to meet his grandfather's friends. And from there his life will change, he'll make life changing decisions. This book is full of "expect the unexpected" turn of events which makes the book even more exciting. A must read!

YAY! i'm glad you enjoyed this book. i have this book and the sequel Hollow City and got to meet the author himself last April during his book signing event and signed my babies :) there is a plan to adapt it to a film to be directed by Tim Burton...however it's being pushed to year 2016 i think instead of 2015...they are still setting up the cast and production.
So do check out the sequel ASAP coz the adventure is getting more eventful and more surprise twist! and the ending will leave you ASDFAHKGLSDL! LOL! but really i was like "finally i knew there was something special about him..." good luck!

Better Off Friends by Elizabeth Eulberg
Genre: YA contemporary romance
Rating: 4/5

surprisingly i end up really enjoying this. a best of friends turned into something more over the course of 5 years of friendship, it's also about family and self discovery and an engaging growing up story. it was adorably cute. i was in the mood to read this kind of light reading and so we click :)

THE STORIED LIFE OF AJ FIKRY by Gabrielle Zevin
3/5

I dont like Mr. Aj Fikry, at first. He was this grumpy, easily annoyed, and annoying at that too, snobbish and outspoken bordering to rude kind of guy. He imbibed the feeling of him being old but in actuality, his age was not. But when i knew about his past, his tragedies and sorrows, i felt sad. I knew now where he was coming from, being almost crazy at times. Who will not be, he lost Nic and Tamerlane? But we were thought that if something was lost, you will gain another thing. That was what life gave him. A different path that made him a different person. A much better person. Thanks to Maya and Amelia.

But one thing remained constant in his life. BOOKS. That and his love for them made his writings and everyday rantings referenced to some classic lits, which made his life meaningful.

When i think about Alice Island, sense of locality, simplicity and familiarity emerges. Especially with the bookstore in the heart of it. It makes me re-think my living in the city.

Lambiase and Ismay and Daniel Parish were not just sub characters. You will be surprised how people, really were connected. Even I didnt see that coming.

In the end, THE STORIED LIFE OF AJ FIKRY is a story about a life being lived, well and full. Everything included, triumphs and failures, happiness and sadness, losing and finding again, hope and dreams.
