Changing Forever (Rain #2) by Lisa De Jong
Genre: new adult romance
Rating: 2.5/5

i was quite disappointed with this one, since the author's previous books have been awesome. but the MCs Emery and Drake have not engaged me. i felt this story and characters have been done a lot of timea already so i didn't like how predictable this one was.

The Light in the Wound #1 by Christine Brae
Genre: Adult contemporary romance
Rating: 2/5

i feel bad that i didn't enjoy reading as much as i want to, esp this is written by a fellow filipina and i think who hails frm Cebu too but now she is bases in the US. it is intriguing though coz ive learned that the story is base on some true story. a lot of relationship drama on this one and angst. but again i was not liking the MCs esp thia Jesse guy who was possessive and controlling and very insecure and i just want to bash his face off i dont care how good looking and charming and ambitious he is. sure he really doea love Isabel but he took her love for granted for yearssss! wtf!

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass #1) by Sarah J. Maas
Genre: YA high fantasy
Rating: 4.5/5

watch out there is a new badass heroine into my list and her name is Celaena Sardothien. she is a skilled renowed assassin and very much cocky about it but she was just talen out frm a death camp to get a chance at freedom all she has to do is win her way thru a series of challenges and became the King of Andarlan's champion. love almost everything about this book and it is brutal and i smell a love triangle but im team Chaol! a very promising start to a great series.

Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2) by Sarah J. Maas
Genre: YA high fantasy
Rating: 5/5

so much feels! fantastic sequel and it is filled with the same brutality, deceits, betrayal and challenges for Celaena. and i cant even begin to describe the heart breaking loss that Celaena suffered here. but i am happy that my otp happened finally but unfortunately this one ended with a heart breaking parting but it doesnt take away how awesomely good this book is.

Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J. Maas
Genre: YA high fantasy
Rating: 5/5

omfg! for a book that made me feel frustrated, sad, in pain and proud and triumphant and then breaks my heart again this one is another winning installment. Celaena is getting better as she struggles with her biggest fears and i cant wait that she finally gets to own that power inside her. i cant wait for book 4 to come out next year!!!

The Assassin's Blade (Throne of Glass # 0.1-0.5) by Sarah J. Maas
Genre: YA high fantasy
Rating: 5/5

this prequel is a series of novellas that tells about how Celaena was like before ending up in thw death camp. here i see a side of her that is proud, vain, so cocky, impulsive, but still deep inside a very compassionate heart. still she was being bitchy too. and we get to meet her first love Sam Cortland. noq be warned that this one ends in a truly heart breaking way *sobs*

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
Genre: contemporary adult romance
Rating: 5/5

im totally creying ugly with this one. i can relate to Will's suffering. it is also eye opening. i never knew there organizations like Dignitas exist for people like Will. i wish this one ends on a much happier note but it didnt take that deep impact of the story. i heard its gonna be a movie so im looking forward how that one turns out.

Rating: 4.5/5 -because I was in an emotional rollercoaster.

I would've let Cole suffer a little longer. Suffer, douche purse! Suffer!

Still, I'm glad they worked it out pretty well. I liked the development of the two characters.

I've heard a lot of good things about this series. But, is there a love triangle in this series? I really don't like love triangles.
