Whate Price Love? (Cynster #13) by Stephanie Laurens
Genre : Historical Romance
Rate : 2/5

It has been quite a long time since i've picked up another HR from my tbr...i kinda missed this...it is my genre and since i did enjoyed most books by this author and i happen to have a copy on hand of this so i decided to pull this out of my tbr...sadly it wasn't as engaging as i hope it would be...mostly because of the characters...the main characters (Lady Priscilla and Dillon Coxton) were described as ridiculously attractive...and that was the dilemma of their mundane life...being beautiful made them cynical of other people's real agenda/interest with them...so they deserve each in the end. I couldn't empathize with that...however that is not the only plot of the story thank god! and the sexy scenes were really steamy...scandalous really hehehe. but not enough for me to care in the end about them as a couple.

Torture to Her Soul (Monster to Her Eyes #2) by JM Darhower
Genre : Adult erotic dark romance, crime
Rating : 3/5

As expected it was dark and twisted and written from the POV of Vitale this time. I would have enjoyed his twisted and unapologetic mind...if he is not so hang up about Karissa...who is twice his age...i don't mind this if only she is the kind of character that i could tolerate but i really have no love for this naive stupid college freshman >_< i just felt that Vitale's obsession with her is kinda wasted and i still don't see how he puts her in a pedestal...his angel so to speak to give light and hope to his otherwise violent and dark life. Whatever...i wasn't just feeling her.

Captivated by You (Crossfire #4) by Sylvia Day
Genre : Adult erotic contemporary romance
Rating : 3/5

I was looking forward to this installment despite it being dragged out to how many books in this series...but seriously i was hoping that a lot of significant progress should be happening by this book ..coz it felt like that the issues that both Gideon and Eva were struggling about...they are still struggling about it in this book ...slowly and agonizingly ....it kinda exhausted me sometimes :/ and again people from their past are still coming out to ruin what they have...i still love you though Gideon <3 hehehe!

I'll Give you The Sun by Jandy Nelson
Genre : Young Adult, coming of age novel, family
Rating : 5/5

This is the second book by said author and i freaking love them all. I love her writing style and the characters she writes about. This is a story of love and loss , of siblings..twins in fact...and the betrayal and tragedy that befell their family. This story will pull you in...and sympathize with the characters...it might remake your reading experience.

I highly recommend this book :)

i finished the Champion last November but i never got to tell the whole RP about how amazing this book is until now. :)
and yes Miss Laila there were ffffeeeeellllsssss all over. :)
i couldn't wish to have other ending - i'd rather have Day forget June than have him dead because of his illness. i love June from beginning to end - what a tough-ass girl she is but all walls of emotion came tumbling down for Day. i love Miss Marie Lu's writing style - the world-building came easy in my mind.
i like how the author told us what happened to other characters - Elector Anden, Tess and Eden.

definitely, a must re-read series. :)

Well Marie Lu is my new favorite author. :)
The Young Elites is not a YA-dystopic book but more of a fantasy book. I've never been into Fantasy books, this was actually my first, and if it the author wasn't Marie Lu i would never have donwloaded this. :)

but i did love the book, it still has that flowy Marie Lu style but since its a fantasy book , getting into their world is not that easy for me. For the main character - Adelina, i am not sure until the end if i like her character. there were moments that i find her so maarte - why can't she just get past her issues? its kinda dragging and its becoming a hurdle to the Daggers mission sometimes. but then the rational part of me would say - considering all her traumas, it would be less believable if she can get through with all of it easily, right? :)

the love thingies are not that intense, although there were kissing moments shared by Enzo and Adelina. the relationship that was given more emphasis was that of Adelina and her sister.

and lastly, WHY DID ENZO DIE????!!! there's Adelina to be blame of course,. tsk tsk :)
and the epilogue makes me want to have the next book NOW! :)
The introduction of the new character though gave me hope that ENZO will be resurrected but what if he won't be the same Enzo?

oh well, i guess until next book then. :)

if there were blind dates with a book, then i had a blind date with Jenny Han's To All the Boys I've Loved Before. i just read it without knowing its plot or whatsoever so at first i thought the plot was - i love my sister's boyfriend and then they broke up and he liked me back but how can we be together without hurting my sister?
but it wasn't. it was more of you really don't know who you're going to fall in love with.

Because for Lara Jean falling for Peter Kavinsky - the vain, i-know-i-am-handsome-and-everyone-loves-me type is so way beyond her imagination. until what started as fake turned into something real. :)

it was just a light read, you'll love the character of Lara Jean and her sisters.

and this is also that kind of book that after reading the ending you'll immediately ask google for a sequel because "DEAR PETER..." couldn't be an ending! :)
gladly, there is - PS I love you, but release would still be sometime in 2015. arrggghh, hate waiting that long! :)
