Wow, a few years back, it was the alchemist. Wanted to see what the fuss was all about. T'was okay but It felt a little too preachy for me. Maybe I will read it again and re examine. I re read the adventures of tom sawyer, it was still awesome. :)

I finished The Old Man and The Sea by Ernest Hemingway last night. I never felt sadder in my entire life.

I'm a super late bloomer when it comes to books. I'm 18 y/o and I just started reading the Harry Potter Series. I'm super loving it because it really gets better and better as it goes. i just finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and I can't wait to see what happens next. :)

I haven't really finished...because I feel like I can't read anymore...it's really weird in a good way because it is supposed to be like that. My mind is messed up now

I've just read Dear Distance by Luis Katigbak. It's a collection of short stories from different genres. I really liked the stories Subterrania and Dear Distance (yeah, dun binase yung title ng buong collection, which makes sense because it's the best short story in the book!). Dear Distance as a whole is bittersweet. Yung characters kasi mostly nostalgic, lonely, filled with regret, or unrequited ang pag-ibig. Nevertheless, I recommend this book! Mabigat lng basahin in one sitting kasi masakit sa puso, haha

I've just finished, "The Funhouse" by Dean Koontz. It was a good book, though not the best of all that I've read of his books (from my own perception only). "The Watchers" is still on the top of my list. But still, I love it. Btw, I'm a Dean Koontz fan here.

I just finished My Not So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella. It was very easy to relate with the MC, Katie. She was charming and quirky, and some experiences she ran into made me laugh out loud. I loved her especially in the first act of the book. I felt for Demeter, the sort of antagonist in the story, too. The second half of the book felt like The Undomestic Goddess bit again, but the tension between K and D saved the read. Even though the ending had the sort of predictable rom-com turn to it, I still enjoyed the book very much. A light read to take your mind off the seriousness of life. :)
