The Dante Club by Matthew Pearl.
I recommend it to anybody who likes Dante. To read about literary figures trying to catch a serial killer is such a kick! It's a wonderfully crafted book. :)

The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa

Can I just say WAAAAHHHHHH. OMG!

You can't believe the feels I got when I was reading this. This is the first book in the second trilogy of the Iron Fey series.

eric packer is a billionaire manhattan trader who in a span of one day loses everything even himself (imo), it started with wanting to have a haircut. it took me a looong time to finish reading this one coz the dialogues here are so long and dense..i won't even begin to try to understand what they all mean. and eric's character i can't even emphatize with. ugh! maybe for his wife elise, who i think should just get a 2nd hubby who is not a stranger to her. i better try my luck with the film version for this.

Shadows on the Moon by Zoe Marriott

It has Asian elements in it, most specifically Japanese culture elements.

I give it 3/5 apples. Not as good as I expected it to be but worth spending the afternoon reading it.

I finished EVERY DAY by David Levithan. This book was recently released (I think last August). The story is interesting and good too. I didn't know where the story's heading until the last part, and the ending was unexpected and really good. It's something that you will think of even after you finish the book. Even though there were times that I wanna skip some part of the book, I still think that it's a beautiful story... unique, sad and remarkable. I recommend this book :)

PRETTY DEAD, by Francesca Lia Block.

This was an impulsive buy. I was a bit familiar with Block's style and I loved it, and it was on sale, and I haven't got any kind of book like that (you know, books with the contemporary vampire thing and trend going on) so. There. I tried it.

I guess I could say liked it. Block's choice of words and style captivated me. It is how I would like my stories to sound like and to be if ever I get to finish anything. Haha. Story-wise though, I wanted a bit more depth and twists and turns. I believe it could've been a bit more twisted and it could've played with the reader's mind more, what with the nature of the story and... I don't know.

It was a short read and it left me quite wanting for more. I would rate it a 5.5/10 I guess. That's all. :D

Kiss an Angel is my most favorite book made by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. You can relate to it and you can learn a lot of lessons by reading this book. It made me tear up a bit, and also it made me understand how can love conquer every weakness you have and turn it into strength. Thumbs up for this one, I recommend this to everyone who is on the mood for something funny and for romance. ^-^
