A Million Suns by Beth Revis (Across the Universe #2)

Giving it 5 stars!!! Why?

Good thing, it has only a pinch of romance which made me comfortable to read this.

The secrets were revealed and spilled out inevitably. One lead to another and chaos looms over --inside Godspeed. The second book is about making decisions and both Amy's and Elder's character evolved into a more serious type of characters in the story.

Throughout the story, I was faced with lies and truths. I thought it was endless. If the first book was a good mystery novel, this one is better. It kept me thinking what's going to happen next.

SciFi+Mystery = Awesome!

This Girl by Colleen Hoover...the third and last installment of the Slammed series...Will and Lake are finally married and Will is sharing his point of view of their love story in Slammed. It was bittersweet and I fell in love with Will Cooper all over again <3 It was butterflying beautiful as i knew it would be. Hoover knows how to write stories from the heart.

Rebel Heart by Moira Young (Dustland #2) It was a heart breaking reunion for Jack and Saba. I did not expect for the direction of this story to go that way but characters are not always perfect even my beloved badass heroine Saba and she just have to face the fatal consequences of her decisions and actions. She can still kickass and she now have Nero the crow and a new animal companion Tracker a wolfdog. There are no happy outcome from this one but the narration was still very engrossing.

The Elite by Kiera Cass (Selection #2)...America is still in now part of the The Elite group the remaining 6 candidates from the Selection to be choosen as the bride and princess of Prince Maxon. The tasks are more challenging. However America is very frustrating for she took a long ass time to decide who to believe and choose to stay with Prince Maxon or her old flame Aspen who is now working in the palace as one of the guards. It was almost too late for her when she realizes who she really wants and now its time to step up her A Game! She got another chance to stay and prove to Prince Maxon that he can trust her.

The Prince, A Selection Novella by Kiera Cass...I kind of understand already where Prince Maxon is coming from with his responsibilities to his title and to his country. It was still delightful to remember once again the first time he encountered America in the palace garden. He was trying to be optimistic with his prospects. His impressions of the candidates were a bit careless for me but I think he feels it is a daunting task. I hope he will improve in time and learn to fight for his own choice in the end.

Blood Red Road by Moira Young (Dustland #1)...Saba (my new heroine) is on a lone mission to search and rescue his kidnapped twin brother Lugh. This chick is badass and after some months of stint in a cage fight she was known as Angel of Death. The author have an odd narrative writing style that took time to get into it but it brilliantly give a distinct voice to the character of Saba. I love Nero her loyal crow that is awesome in every way :D and then there is just Jack charming Jack who set Saba's heartstone on firrreee! lol! She tries to fight her attraction to him but she can't seem to help but rescue Jack from dangerous situations. That ending was just arrrgghh! till they meet again huh? they better be!

There were certainly a lot of twist and turns. Finally next stop is the Centauri-Earth ;) and more mysteries but finally to the truth!

Bond Girl by Erin Duffy....its Devil Wears Prada meets Wall Street. Basically the story is like that so nothing new but still an entertaining read for a chapter break from my usual YA books.
