The last book I finished was The Casual Vacancy by J. K. Rowling. Ang tagal ko sya binasa! I bought it when it was released in September 2012, last week ko lang sya natapos. Boring sya sa umpisa, kaya nakakatamad basahin. Kelan lang ko sya pinaspasan ng basa kasi medyo naging interesante na sya sa dulo.

Pangdisplay na lang ung libro ko if ever lol. May book bag pa naman yun.

The With Me in Seattle Series by Kristen Proby ~ Contemporary Romance for a long chapter break :)
Fight With Me (#2) story of Jules and Nate who are effing hot together of course!
Play with Me (#3) story of rocker nurse Megan and QB Seahawks star WIll Montgomery ...love them :)
Rock with Me (#4) story of bitchy Samantha and tattoed rock star Leo Nash...what can I say? hotness!!!
Under the Mistletoe (#.5) story of married couple Stacey and Isaac Montgomery...time to rekindle that lovin feeling after their long awaited baby has come true.

I simply love this series..its hot, romantic, swoon worthy, low angst and the Montgomery family sounds almost perfect I wanna be a part of their family. Perfect series to read for my long chapter break. So now back to the Walking Chaos Trilogy.

The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness... i am a bit emotionally depleted after that effing cliffhanger of an ending...nevertheless the writing is great and most of the twist and turns of the story is not predictable. A lot of times i found myself shouting NO! or RUN! or WTF!!! or whatever explicit expressions I can think of. This is a story of choices and these choices could make or break Todd Hewitt.

Die for Her by Amy Plum...a Die for Me novella...this is the POV of Jules from Die For Me and Until I Die. This is like a run through also of what else was happening that we were not aware of from the previous books. Jules found himself falling reluctantly in love with Kate, who happens to be the girlfriend of Vincent his best friend. And this love triangle scenario is never a good thing, so he hides his feelings behind his flirtatious facade and numerous girls all the while suffering from his unrequited love. He is loyal to his long time friend and i was simply sad that for the first time Jules has to fall in love since turning into a revenant it would have to be for a girl that will never love him back. I did wonder if our dear suave Jules have any feelings for Kate but didn't know it was that deep.

And she is longing for Kaidan another Nephilim the son of the Duke of Lust who left her for their feelings for each other is forbidden and dangerous. But once they reunited in the sunny LA California oh la la! the heat is on like fire! I don't know how Anna could have survive that hotness that is Kaidan Rowe and still remain "pure". I cannot wait for her to finally wield the Sword of Righteousness in the next installment.

If I Should Die by Amy Plum (#3 Revenants series) this is the final installment and the Revenant Champion has been finally revealed which i already guessed from the last book. And I'm so happy that Vincent is back. There were hearts that were broken esp. Jules he needs his own spin off story he cannot be left sad over Kate for a long time. And also poor poor Gaspard (T-T). Psycho b*tch Violette "off with her head"! I was pleasantly surprise that this series ended on quite a high note for me since I didn't really love that story that much when I first started reading the first book. Kate when her character develop to a more important role in this one she at least didn't turn into a Mary Sue. There are cheesy romantic moments bet. Kate and Vince coz hey this is their epic immortal story and I feel that i'm finally done with them. Except for Jules! i want more for him my suave french revenant :)

The Unwanted Wife by Natasha Anders...contemporary romance...Theresa wanted a divorce after 18months of cold harsh impersonal treatment from her gorgeous italian husband Alessandro. She had enough she deserves better and rightly so, and Sandro(the DB hubby) realize his mistakes when he discovered that his callous treatment to Theresa were unwarranted and so let the grovelling husband of the year commence. I felt so justified for every time Theresa laid it to Sandro of what and how exactly he has wronged her. Will Sandro convince Theresa in the end that she can trust her love to him again and that he loves her back just as much? Okay I ached for Theresa the entire time but relished the HEA coz I want one for her so badly!

Taking Chances by Molly McAdams...New Adult...a roller coaster drama of an almost messy love triangle. for those who have read Thoughtless series by SC Stephens and Beautiful Disaster by Jamie Mcguirre. Then you will be familiar with the characters and the plot of the story because it has combinations of the elements bet. this two books. I do not really like the main female protagonist Harper because basically she cheated due to immature thinking resulted to an obvious typical consequences of unwanted pregnancy because of irresponsibility. Why i read and finished this one because at the end of it all my emotions were engaged and i'm a sucker for hot and likable male protagonists and whatever drama that ensues here. Eeecchhhkkk! I took a chance and took the plunge ngayon sumasakit heart ko for Chase coz he dot dot dot...

The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan...our May BoTM...i can relate to some of the stories here when I reflected upon the memory of my late mother. Mothers knows Best most of the time :) respect them and listen. You will never what wisdom they want to impart with you.
