never read the book coz i'm also not fond of zombies unless there is a badass heroine in it killing all these gross living dead..hehehe.
@bagamundo...i want to watch the movie instead, it has been a long time since i've watched any Brad Pitt in it ;) for a moment there the first time i saw the trailer it reminded me of Tom Cruise's "War of the World" with the aliens..in this case it's the zombies...you know a father running with his family to save themselves from such apocalypse.

hahaha that's funny. i was thinking the exact same thing. tom cruise had war of the worlds. brad pitt has world war z. its like brad pitt wants to project an image he's a family man now. brangelina met in mr and mrs smith. tom and nicole in steel magnolias(?). both were in interview with the vampire. haha

I haven't seen the movie yet (am planning to do so) but the book might be the better version. Usually naman ganon ang setup. Haha :D give us a heads up if the book is better nga than its movie counterpart. :)

True! More often than not, mas hyped up ang book. Plus may mga omitted details pag naging movie na kaya mas nagiging active ang imagination natin sa books. :)

from reviews, i read people say the movie is nothing like the book. the only thing in common is the title.

Stolen: A Letter To My Captor by Lucy Christopher... from the pov of Gemma Toombs who was abducted by one Ty McFarlaine from BKK airport all the way to the middle of nowhere in down under. The captor didn't truly treated her badly but when you are in a vast place of isolation and the only person around to keep you alive is your kidnapper Gemma is bound to develop the classic case of Stockholm Syndrome. But this one is actually beautifully written the ending is how I wanted it to be coz in the end the truth of the matter is what Ty did was take away her choices, he has no right to try to save her in his own termsnd force her to live his kind of isolated freedom with him. He didn't come off as a sinister villain but the years of planning, preparation and stalking he did for Gemma is just alarming. I'm just glad he chose to do the right thing in the end.
