Millenium Trilogy book 2.

"There are no innocents. There are, however, different degrees of responsibility"

I managed to finish a book because I got free time from work. This one is a WTF! Book category for me. Lisbeth Salander is a real badass heroine.

i do always believe that if he's THE ONE, you'll just feel it, you'll just know it. that is why there is something called destiny, fate. back it up by an ancient superstitious belief, you'll definitely be sticking with each other, together forever!

yes, its predictable. the plot, the characters, the conflicts. but its funny, cute and light. easy reading for me. :)

confused is the right adjective for me after reading the book and watching the movie. i know for a fact that always and always, the book is the better version of the story. but im such a sucker for romantic love stories, thats why even the movie was way way different from the original... i still liked it. though i had a huge crush on werewolf jacob of twilight, i cannot say the same thing for gabriel here. :p

Once again, hats off to Lisbeth and Stiegg for creating this character.

After reading the second book I just cant wait any longer to read the last installment. As always, the book is waayyyyyyyy much better than the movie. ( We, readers, know that.)

I was totally engaged when the trial of Lisbeth came. This is a perfect mystery/conspiracy novel. One thing though I didnt like was Larsson's way of making Mikael looked like 007 when it comes to women. I found that a bit "out of context". Maybe my view of Mikael was tainted by what I saw from the movie. A spoiler will always be a spoiler. It spoils everything. Hahaha!

Oh well, I'm back to reading coz of this trilogy. Just took my "Under the Dome" copy out of my "baul of TBR list".

The Edge of Desire by Stephanie Laurens (Bastion club#8)..Christian Michael Allardyce 6th Marquess of Dearbe has reclaimed his first love Lady Letitia Randall nee Vaux. I do not like the heroine's temper, she is too tonnish for my taste. There is mystery and murder in this historical romance. I am excited about the epilogue here though coz it finally revealed something about Dyziel's real identity after 8 books in this series.

Mastered by Love by Stephanie Laurens (Bastion Club #9) the final book of this series and the revealing story about Dyziel's character the mysterious aristocratic ex-spy commander in this historical romance. He is Royce Henry the 10th Duke of Wolverstone. He is one Alpha Duke. although his love story is sort of similar with the one or two of the Bastion club member in the previous books but his character really stand out, very commanding and the last traitor has been finally flushed out and he was closer than he felt comfortable with. And now I need to look into another historical romance series maybe back to Julia Quinn.

Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover...I love "Hopeless" which the first book and the POV of the main character Sky. I simply love how Colleen wrote that book and brought those feelings out into words and not make them feel too cheesy even in a high school setting. Again since I absolutely love her Slammed series so this one is no exception. It is written from the POV of Dean Holder the sweet and smouldering guy in Sky's life in "Hopeless". The story flows beautifully and it's tragic and made me feel all kinds of butterfly. There were other secrets from the side of Holder that are being revealed in this book and now I can say that Les' story has been answered as well. This has been categorize as YA but also midway New Adult in certain aspects.
