 Wonder by RJ Palacio.
It tells a story of a young boy with physical deformity. It shows other people's perception of the boy and the boy's perception of himself.  It's a wonderful book full of life lessons.

" What you’ve done with your time, how you’ve chosen to spend your days, and whom you have touched this year. That, to me, is the greatest measure of success."

Fever (The Chemical Garden #2) by Lauren DeStefano...not my fave sequel, the whole vibe of the book is depressing and most of the time the main protagonist is in a state of being drugged hence the hallucination, having feverish nightmares and so the book cover is most certainly apt along with the title. Nothing really important is happening, it is very character driven and the one character that surprises me is Cecily. She was an unlikable character to begin with but at least she is doing something unexpected. The rest of the characters were kinda bland and predictable. It was an okay book for me i thought i would get excited all through out but nada! nothing significant is being revealed of the world Rhine is living in. The author kept indicating that Rhine is smart well she isn't really if she didn't have any concrete plans beyond escaping. Still the author have good writing style.

The Stranger I Married by Sylvia Day...one of the hottest, sensual and passionate historical romance i've read to date. a younger male protagonist married to an older female protagonist a marriage of convenience that evolved into something more than they could hope for. Not the usual kind of main characters you read in this genre but Ms. Day is a pro when writing about passion.

This Can't Be Happening Series by Lynda LeeAnne (Adult Contemporary Romance)
#1 Lexi, Baby ....story of Alexis sky Martine and Landyn James about their second chance at love. and Lan is just *sigh* so alpha male

#2 Trish, Just Trish...the story of Trish and Tony this two are full of drama and they keep hurting each other it was almost nasty and painful to read.

#3 Adam, Enough Said...oh lala! Adam is a sexy uber hot badass cop and he is married to a feisty woman whom he affectionately thought of as redheaded terrorist named Mia. they have a rather tragic and painful history and years later Adam is determined to win back and make things right with his estranged wife. I love their story best of all this series.

More Than This (More # 1) by Jay McLean....absolutely love this NA series. Jake Andrews is just so dreamy. The female protagonist Mikayla Jones is a quarter filipino so there you go, she is already a winner to me.hehehe. But this is a story of heart break, tragic loss and learning to live and love again.

“God, I can't even begin to tell you... I just wish that you could have felt it too. So that when you found your Jake Andrews, you would know. You would know what it felt like to stand in front of your forever.” ~ Mikayla

Sever (The Chemical Garden # 3) by Lauren DeStefano...the third and final installment of this series. It is quite haunting the vibe of the conclusion of the book. There are things that I did not like and some things that i come to appreciate and things I just don't care about like Gabriel for instance.
At least there was finally a freaking cure. There were character deaths and one Cecily that really surprise me of the depth of her inner strength, clearly i underestimated her character. She wasn't likable like i've mentioned before but she was there for Rhine when it really matters.
The author's writing style reminded me of the Matched Trilogy. But if i were to compare this two series i like the Matched series better.
