The Madness Underneath (Shades of London #2) by Maureen Johnson
So i have read the first book "The Name of the Star" back in 2012 pa so i was kinda rusty of the details but i do remember where it left off. This is a YA paranormal series. About ghost in the London setting. The MC is a young american student who got transferred to LHR and due to a near death experience have gained a sight to see dead people. And in this sequel after a near death experience again in the hands of a murderous ghost called The Ripper, Rory has became a human terminus. A tool that can destroy a ghostly entity just by touching them. Another danger has lurked underneath LHR and there other groups that were revealed with terrifying intent of using Rory. While our dear Rory is in her usual odd humorous self and was kind of distracted most of the time she is very stubborn though when she sets her mind into something. That ending I was not expecting at all! I was aghast of what happened to Stephen of all characters! What a cliffy!!!

I just finished reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.. And honestly its not my type. She has her own style ending her books. There's always missing on the end of the book and i don't like it. What I like is the book "Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn".

Just got a bit curious about the title of the second book... And to be able to understand more one should read the pilot.. I guess i just got heartbroken, i had high hopes for this book yet it was not for me. mara dyer didnt get through me, esp. Towards the end... As much as i like the plot and the opening phrases... It didnt see the light at the end of the tunnel.. It had a promising start but i lost it appeal halfway leafing through it. Maybe u give it a shot, ull have a different pov than mine.

Wicked Beat (Sinners on Tour #4) by Olivia Cunning
The story of the drummer of a rocker Sinner's band - Eric Sticks. He has certain performance problem but a rather cute yet feisty new sound engineer Rebekah may just be the right woman to help him with that. At first i was not feeling Rebekah but then she grew on me and they both always have a lot of fun together in and out of bed. hehehe! Just for smut sake kind of reading ;)
Caution : Adult mature graphic content. Erotica. Rockstars.

Double Time (Sinners on Tour #5) by Olivia Cunning
The final installment of this series and the one i most look forward to coz i find Trey Mills the hottest of them all. He likes both men and women and he never is lacking for company. This was really sizzling hot.
Caution : Adult mature graphic content. Erotica. Rockstars. Threesome.

Again for smut sake kind of reading. hehehe!

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Normally i shy away from war setting kind of story but I was curious of this book and I wanted to see the movie. I like the narrator who is Death. I actually find his narration oddly funny and engaging. There was comfort in the way he talks about those souls that he had "harvested" during WWII in staggering numbers. I know something tragic will happen somewhere in this story but despite that anticipation i still end up getting teary eyed of how much Liesel had lost during that period in her life. And the power of books, its words that became a tool for her to miraculously survive and give her strength and will to do so. Oh Rudy! 4 out of 5.

ENDER'S GAME by ORSON SCOTT CARD
star trek.. exactly my thoughts of imagining this book. i keep on mentally reminding myself how the world is built in ender's eyes through star trek. Captain Kirk, or Commander Spock, be as it may seem as to Ender. With battles and gravities and intergalactics and all. hard time picturing it but at the same time excited to watch it visually. later in the day, my eyes will devour on it. hehe but as for the book, im a newbie when it comes to sci fi. but i can say, it nailed me. i liked it. i enjoyed it. i had fun reading it, and at one point i cried. haha i dont know, maybe i really felt the emotions ENDER was supposed to feel in that particular scene where all his so-called friends were back. i felt cheated, lied to and used, at one too many episodes. so much for being an emotional reader. it bored me when the author was describing something i cant even picture or understand, but it made me more excited so as to watch the film, to be alive on my eyes. i felt peace at the end of the book, and so i guess, Andrew 'Ender" Wiggin, too.
