Well, it took me a while to get around finishing this since I decided to read other books midway. Dexter in the Dark was a lot like the others before it, it slowly builds up until it presents the perfect phase through the end. Newly introduced supernatural elements in the book may have brought me to scratch my head at first but it actually made me a lot more curious. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the next book in the series. :)

THE INN AT ROSE HARBOR by DEBBIE MACOMBER

Heart warming stories in a story. these kinds are the ones when u finally reached the last chapter and as you are about to close the book, a smile will spread into ur face and you will easily think that indeed life is still beautiful despite all of the challenges and obstacles. just having a little faith and trust all willl eventually fall into its places.

not a very strong series its like america's next top model royalty style...but it's one of those series that since i started it na might as well finished it till the final book comes out and see who is the "ONE". the book covers are really pretty though. not one of my top fave read.

Crash (Crash #1) by Nicole Williams
A New Adult series. I almost forgot i have read another one of her novels but it was not memorable. I was in a mood for angsty teen romance and this once delivered although the usual high school drama was fairly predictable but still the story was engaging to make you curious of what's is more in store for the MCs Jordan and Lucy.

God Shaped Hole by Tiffanie DeBartolo
Man this was a love story that will make you laugh and sad at the same time. The characters were funny and passionate, cynical yet hopeful who you feel are just meant to be and if they are real people i would have wish them a long lived life ahead. But alas this was not the case. Adult contemporary romance that is edgy and might leave a God shaped hole in your soul for a few hours...it depends on your book hangover after reading this.

THE ELITE (#2) by KIERA CASS
same as the selection. i just didnt get it. or rather it didnt get through me. as much as i would like to be immersed in America's world, i just couldnt. except for the fact that i can imagine fab dresses during the course of the story, nothing comes out of it. not even the action that im waiting for since this is set in a dystopian world or even the romance in a love triangle between America , Maxon the ideal prince or Aspen the real deal or the heroine side of America Singer, which she attempted once. All i saw was the girl being so gullible, going back and forth, cant decide who is to love, or what to do in her life. the narration became inconsistent, and a lot of unnecessary details. i read it for the sake of finishing it. i would really want to like both books, given the interesting premise, but sadly, the reader in me doesnt follow. :(

This series is frustrating actually...hehehe. Not a very strong series and a lot of plot holes. But when the"The One" will come out later this year i will still read it just so i can put this one to rest and the only redeeming thing about this series is that the book covers are all so pretty. lol! America will end up alone if can't freaking decide. I got tired of her in this book. To go or not to go? then she suddenly changes her mind at the last minute at the end of the book? WTH!
You know i remember the author came to Cebu for a book signing I didn't go to checked it out coz I'm not really a fan.
