Hollow City (Miss Peregrine #2) by Ransom Riggs
Jacob and the rest of the peculiar children are on a mission to save their headmistress trapped in her bird form for time is running out. So they traveled from one time loop to another while being chased by the dreaded wights and hallowgast. I enjoyed it despite its rather bleak atmosphere. The ending left me hanging but not hopeless for finally Jacob realized the true real strength of his ability.

Original review at http://whateveryoucanstillbetray.blogspot.com/2014/03/book-review-spy-in-house-by-ys-lee.html .

Nooooooooooo! You don't get to go away, James! Absolutely not. Not India.

Ahem, I seem to be out of the reading slump. That was me lamenting the parting of Mary and James in the end of A Spy in the House.

I must admit that I was not really paying much attention to the case that Mary was supposed to be investigating. I was always raring to go to the parts where Mary and James were interacting. They had the best chemistry even though they were always at each other's throats. She, independent, headstrong and intelligent. He, arrogant, decisive and convinced of the natural superiority of men (which was quite the thinking in those days, no wonder women could do things behind the curtain because they would not be suspected *hint*hint*). Naturally, the sparks were quite obvious.

Clash (Crash #2) by Nicole Williams

I realize that I was in no mood for the ugly green monster drama of Luce in this sequel of Crash. Luce and Jude are now in college but there are skanky b*tches that couldn't help but try to get in between our love birds. There was a cat fight, thankfully Luce was winning. But I was mostly frustrated with Luce with the way she went back and forth with her trust with Jude and if they were meant to be together. I like that Luce's mom became the voice of reason it reminded me of my mom when she gave me advice as well even though when you are all grown up even in serious relationships mom can know best of all.

Id never seen myself reading this as soon as im free for other books to read, but yeah, i picked it up and was done with it as soon as. guess, roza is growing in on me now. I am liking her since shes becoming more mature and responsible. And not as wild as dangerous as before the series started. the stories too are becoming serious as mature vampires there can be as possible. still like dimitri but as adrian comes into view, i woudnt mind a competition betwen them. i like the badass types, u know. sad for mason but it was necessary to make rose a better and firm character. More actions here and more likely to follow. :)

Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote
much better when i viewed it on the movie itself. audrey hepburn was a doll. gerard peppard was handsome. i enjoyed them more, though im a much of a reader myself than a movie-watcher. they made it slightly different from the book, but it turned out to be more appreciated. i say, it's one of the CLASSICS.

WAKING UP MARRIED by Mira lyn kelly

a breather for me... from all the series that i am wanting to start and cannot decide yet which one. waking up married, literally, never crossed my mind ever but reading about it was quite fun. we may not agree on one or two of the things laid out in the story, but mira lyn kelly knew how to make it up in the end. short romance with a bit of funny, smart dialogues and a lot of steamy moments. the ending made me want to meet one connor reed in vegas, minus the drama, please. :)

i have read the whole series and even seen the TV version. i would say that i love the book edition compared to the TV version, in that the book develops the love angle between Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, two ex-Secret Service agents that eventually became Private Investigators. They deal with espionage, conspiracy and abduction of important US personalities, including presidential candidates. but the one i love the most is the series on The Sixth Man, because it tells about the identity of Edgar Roy, a person of great interest by the CIA. and it was during this installment that the TV version started off. great read!!!

I just finished this and it was amazing and a lot of fun! I love that they're the most opposite but are the greatest of friends, even though Sophie was such a brat most of the time.
