Here's one that doesn't get much attention. Written by the greatest science fiction writer to ever live in the milky way galaxy, one of the most underrated writers ever. His ideas have inspired films such as, Blade Runner, A Scanner Darkly, Minority Report, Totall Recall (to be remade soon starring Colin Farrel), and many more.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Ship, or BLade Runner in film will blow your mind and make you re-think about human consciousness. Must See, but definitely a MUST READ.

Hear hear! I'm looking forward for a remake of the classic Richard Burton starred adaptation. It's not far to tie up with the ongoing George Smiley saga, given the first film last year with positive reviews and Gary Oldman winning the best actor award.

... i read that the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy is a book where George Smiley is already retired... i will read that saga later...

I will be reading the books when Smiley is still active... then jump to his retirement...

I found the movies for "Call for the Dead" and "A Murder of Quality"

so John Le Carre's 1st three books - including A Spy who came in from the Cold, is available on video...

How cool is that !?!?!?!
