is there a book for Marius? Is SERVANT of the Bones part of the vampire chronicles? who is the main character ?... =(

I think MARIUS' book is titled BLOOD & GOLD. I'm not sure though.

SERVANT OF THE BONES is not a part of THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES. I Recommend this book Memnoch. I hope you'll find it as good as I did.

This is how AZRIEL is described in AnneRice.com:

He is ghost, genii, demon, angel--pure spirit made visible. He pours
his heart out to us as he journeys from an ancient Babylon of royal
plottings and religious upheavals to Europe of the Black Death and on
to the modern world. There he finds himself, amidst the towers of
Manhattan, in confrontation with his own human origins and the dark
forces that have sought to condemn him to a life of evil and
destruction.[/quote]

Cool. I like these kind of stories where we are brought to the untold mysteries of the Bible. Somehow, this reminds me of The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri.

I also started my vampire chronicles with Memnoch the Devil, the 5th book on the series...and so from then on...I traced the roots of the whole chronicles from the Interview with the Vampire to all of them..including the new series in which Armand and many other character unfolds their stories..
even the Talamasca which has been the investigative body to this whole vampire phenomenon has their own roots and story...there's also a spin-off series from which the Mayfair witches from Rice's other series infiltrated the world of vampire in which Lestat is the protagonist...the book is Merrick..

Now, Rice has this new series of Werewolves...im sure we can expect that the supernatural world she would then create here will be new and imaginative...I'm expecting a spin-off story again with her immortal vampires...

Binasa ko ang Vampire Chronicles nung high school ako. Good thing my mum and aunt aren't the type to nose through the books that I buy.

Memnoch the Devil is probably the one from the series that I've read the most. haha Pathetic na nga ang itsura nung copy ko.
