The House of Silk

This book contains all the elements of a Holmes story. It starts with a consult with an isolated case, Holmes and Watson checking out the place. Some more incidents related to the crime popping out. Witnesses being interviewed. The Baker Street Irregulars being tasked by Sherlock to find something or someone.

Surprisingly, the isolated case gets meshed up with a big scandal leading up to Holmes being framed up and being arrested. Then there is Holmes brother and surprisingly -Moriarty helping Holmes.

The ending was just amazing. My guess was all wrong. I should have checked the clues more closer. hahaha..

This is a great read.

I'm reading this next. It's been in my "to read" list for quite sometime already.

Haven't seen Elementary. But I did get to see an episode of Sherlock (British series) and I liked it.

i find elementary more engaging and interesting....

the Sherlock Brit series is more of a new version of the Sherlock Holmes classic stories.. though i still like this series...

but the show ELEMENTARY has new stories.. new cases... though am not actually sure if the stories are new as i have only read a few sherlock stories..

Well, I should try Elementary then.

Btw, I like the ending too! I never expected it.
