Fateful by Claudia Gray
Titanic + werewolves? Odd combination. But i found Fateful an "okay" read.
So here's what i love about the book:
ALEC! He has a way with words, i love all the scenes that he was there. I love that he doesn't care about the rules of the society. And TESS , she was a likeable character. I love that her character was brave and courageous. I also love the secondary characters - Ned, Irene, Myriam. So basically i love the characters!
What i don't like is the distinct lack of emotion. When Tess and Alec confessed their love for each other - that was supposed to be romantic but i did not feel anything. And even when the sink was sinking, that should have been a heartbreaking moment but there was just no feel for me.
I just felt that there was something missing with the book and the ending althhough Tess and Alec re-united so that's a YEHEY moment for me but the ending was just so abrupt, i don't know.
But i love Alec and Tess, i'd love to read more about their growing relationship and their fight against the Brotherhood.
