Budget traveling gives you access to a lot of books too, that is, if you stay at hostels when you travel abroad. Most backpackers leave the books they brought on their trips. Or, you can trade books with them. The choice of books are endless and you may find a Paolo Coelho book in German or French.

borrowing is also cool...... but theres nothing like owning the book (whether new or 2nd hand) and putting it in your shelf and adding to your collection... its a sort of "trophy"...

*High five* I know that borrowing a book is the most practical thing to do, but being the bibliophile that I am, I can find ways to buy a brand new book. HAHA. Seriously, I'm flat broke, but I can always pull out a money when I want a brand new book.
