I keep seeing Terry Pratchett's name pop up a lot recently, and I'm curious about his books.
Can anyone recommend a book of his among others, or the best one to start with?

As I understand, Gaiman is famous for his ability to paint fantastical worlds, creatures and heroes while Pratchett is more known for his sharp wit and humor (not to mention his uncanny ability to "time" his jokes right). I also recommend Reaper Man. It was a good read.
