the reason why they allowed a 'reboot' is to bring Peter Parker back to his roots, with less drama and more fun. i think he gave justice to the role, he's a spider-man fanatic judging by his surprise visit/panel intro to the san diego comic con last year, wearing that costume and surprising the audience after removing his mask. he just loved being peter parker. and emma stone is just smart and yummy.. lol

but dont take my word for it, see it to believe it. there's manong dibidi in the street, days from now and there's the torrent sites a week from now (Disclaimer: i dont promote illegal ways of watching the movie because i just watched it last night @ SM. hello admin, be kind to animals) if you dont want to waste your precious 160 pesos in the big screen. you can also forget about it and do your homework instead, your parents will be proud of ya.

Hi guys, just saw the movie! I found it to be more personal (about peter parker) and w more drama than tobey's version which to me was showing more of the 'adventure' angle. @deathwalker, baligtad tayo ng tingin! Hehe. And i never liked emma stone also, hehe.

[warning: SPOILER here]
For me, this current peter parker is more adventurous than the past version dahil hindi sya patorpe-torpe o kailangan pang magtago behind the mask for his chick. Gasgas na kasi yung magsuot ng eyeglasses at pasadahan ng pomada ang buhok (i.e. Clark Kent) o gumamit ng voice modulator (i.e. Batman) para magtago. Remember how people liked it when Tony Stark admits to the public that he's Ironman in the ending of the first Ironman film? These screen writers are just trying to improve some unwanted and silly superhero cliche but retains the useful ones and sticking to the original story like Peter developing a certain technology in using web cartridges or webbing device that is true from the comic book. He even cracks jokes to his victims (i.e. criminals), the same Spider-Man attitude in the books. If the Tobey Maguire version is a nerd, this Andrew Garfield version is a cool nerd. Of course, it's just my opinion based on what I saw. I like Emma stone here, I said that she never looked so good and it means bagay sya as Gwen Stacy.

Hi, guys! :) Saw the movie last Friday and I must say that this one is a lot better than Tobey's version. :) Andrew is a better actor, too! He showed more emotion and I think he connected more effectively to the audience. Spider-man's background was more established here and the character development was smooth. The lizard was a better antagonist because there's more to his character than just being an overnight villain. The story line was compact and solid. :) I look forward to this amazing Spider-Man joining the Avengers. :) Also, I like Emma Stone better than Kristen Dunst because Gwen is smart and has more depth compared to Mary Jane's typical "blonde" damsel-in-distress character. :)
