been waiting for this for ages !!!

FYI, there is sa HOBBIT cartoon version released around the 70~80s... its nice to watch before reading the book or watching the new Hobbit movie...

there is even a Lord of the Rings cartoon as well....

From left to right, they are Nori, Fili, Dori, Bofur, Gloin (father of Gimli from LOTR), Dwalin, Thorin, Balin, Oin, Bombur, Bifur, Ori and Kili.

Yeah, I think the movie might be better than the book... just like the original trilogy. :P (yeah, blasphemy, I know...)

any idea for the release date? i read somewhere that it will be on the end of this year....

December, unless Manila Film Fest blocks it for January 2013...

They might show it earlier than the scheduled US release, just like what they did to Tintin and MI4 to accommodate Manila Film Fest on Xmas day. If they don't show it earlier or on time, Smaug the Dragon will wreak havoc and boycott all the MFF films... :mrgreen:
