That list is classic! Have read a good number in that list over the years. Which reminds me of some which I've been longing, but never took time, to read.

I recommend The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. Its a new fantasy series by a new writer. Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson is up there next to Tolkien in my opinion. Totally revolutionary fantasy writing.

Still, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy is on top of my list. Mas maganda pa rin talaga ang book kesa sa movie nito. I'm still looking for a hard copy of it.
