Novels or short stories, which do you prefer?

It depends on the author. I'd take Flannery O' Connor's short stories over Dostoevsky's novels any day.

It depends on the writer and what kind of story they're trying to tell.

But lately it's been short stories for me.

Short stories because I'm impatient too. Roald Dahl wrote short stories for adults. They're good.

I also like anthologies. I go to the library for this.
