The first book in the New York Times bestselling Maze Runner series—The Maze Runner is a modern classic, perfect for fans of The Hunger Games and Divergent.
When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.
Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every thirty days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.
Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.
Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.
Haven't read this series yet but I heard of great feedbacks about it. Let me know what you think for those who have read it already.
Wonder what happened to this. Nagkaubusan sila ng stocks, di ko alam kung biglang pumatok lang, or inipon nila lahat for MIBF, kasi Fully Booked, Power Books, NBS lahat wala. Di din naman ako nakapunta nung MIBF. Hayy sabi na dapat binili ko na 'to nung nakita ko nung summer eh </3 Hopefully this week, meron na ulit, since tapos na MIBF.
Recently finished reading this book. GAAAHHH! Last June ko pa ito na post and ngayon ko lang nabasa. The book was a compelling read. Daming tensions and surprises as in characters that will literally come out of nowhere! Over all i really like it. I have my moments of feels rin. But i'm not so keen yet on Teresa. I am more interested about Minho and other gladers and she was like this intrusive only girl...hehehe!
