Free Tickets to MIBF!

Hi guys!!!

We have FREE tickets to the 34th MIBF (the biggest book fair in the country) happening this Sept 11 to 15 at SMX convention center. This is sponsored by NBS / Powerbooks, c/o Ms Ivy, thevinethatwrites! Thanks a lot Ivy!

Jemchan, Laila, Bagamundo, MissRed, Malot, Memnoch, Arjaye, up to you how you guys want to use it!!! Feel free to post a simple promo to drive engagement if possible. You can also arrange a meet-up at the fair if you want and we can give it as prize to those who will attend! We can visit the fair then huddle over coffee right after!

can i suggest this...i saw this promo in some sites: set up a raffle using this rafflecopter program. The RP member will enter his/her details join this raffle promo. the members will just have to post as many posts as they can valid ones of course in this forum. they need to post at least 10 valid comments to get a chance to win those tickets and the rafflecopter program will randomly select those valid entries who have more than 10 valid comments. however, the post should be more than just a comment of "i love this book" or "it was great".
so if there is anyone here who is techy enough to set up that rafflecopter program here then maybe this will help engage more members to this forum.
another thing to monitor the number of post of each member who sign up for the raffle there will be a separate catalog or something that indicates the number of posts from that member starting from the day the raffle will officially start.

i hope what i'm suggesting was understandable enough, but if others here have another simple suggestions let's hear it since the MIBF is drawing near.

that's a good suggestion ms laila. or if we can't set that up maybe just post a screenshot of you post history that proves the 10 valid comments. i think each ticket is good for 2 persons.

I would like to know how many people are interested to go and want tickets to the MIBF.

Miss Wanda and I were talking and maybe we can also turn this event into a 2nd meet-up of sorts. We can meet, catch up, distribute tickets and then go to the event together. We can meet up afterwards too.

Let me know what you think so I can set the event up for us.

So like i've mentioned to Ms Wanda in my PM that my spirit will be with you there.... again. Or you can hook me up on skype so i can see what is going on during the fair. I can almost imagine hugging those mountains of books like they are my long lost family...hehehe.

Can somebody who is going is willing to take a list of titles from me and check out if they are there and how much they cost? Do let me know via PM please
