HARRY POTTER – THE SORCERER’S STONE from the Harry Potter Series by J.K Rowling
So Harry Potter is an orphaned forced to live with his only left muggle family after Voldemort killed his parents. His cousin Dudley bullies him too much and his aunt and uncle don’t care at all about him. So when his Fairy Godsomething – Hagrid appeared and brought him to Hogwarts did he realize how special, famous and invaluable he is.
After 16 years of the book's existence and me ignoring it, did I finally make a good decision of reading it?
HARRY POTTER books are one of those best books that can definitely bring you into “another world” !
This particular book is full of positive messages about the power of love, friendship, and self-sacrifice. Also, about not letting your background dictate who you become.
The book is so friendly, my head didn’t ache with all the weird terminologies and I didn’t get confuse with them as well.
Of all the 7 books, I really find the first book my favorite. Harry Potter is cute here and its my first HP love.
I was actually wishing that Hogwarts is real and that I can also be a student there, be a WITCH (after being a demigod ). I was simply fascinated by the small and skinny, with unruly hair, plus glasses held together with Scotch tape boy named Harry Potter.
This is really a great book and I enjoyed reading it, going to ask my friends if they have DVDs of the movie so I can watch the movie of it as well.

THE LAST OLYMPIAN from the Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan
As a fun of Greek Mythology, the Percy Jackson series was a dream came true. I had never enjoyed Greek Mythology like how I enjoyed reading the Percy series. The clash of the modern and classical world is very entertaining – no dull moment! The series made me wish that I am a half-blood too, and Athena would be my mom.
I like the last book – The Last Olympian because:
It was the perfect conclusion to one of the best saga in the bookdom, with one battle from the other, the action just never seem to stop.
It’s good to finally know everything! And Percy is now smarter than ever.
Well, as these series ends I conclude that PERCY JACKSON is the best demigod! I rejoiced with his every triumph; get kilig for every Percy and Annabeth moments; worried when he is hurt and etc.
I will definitely miss Grover, Tyson, Annabeth and of course Percy! <3
And if it wasn’t for another prophecy at the end of this book, I wouldn’t know that Percy Jackson precedes The Last Hero series. I actually read The Last Hero first.
I wish there will be another PERCY series, like his adult life perhaps? hehe

Meanwhile, my YA Challenge for January 2014 is already so do check that one out
