finish it a week ago and it really is a great book, my favorite part was when the 3 religious mentors of his (the moslem, the hindu and the christian) met his family at the beach... he was asked to choose which religion and he said... he believes that god is universal and he was just trying to love god. makes me smile :)

The Lady and the Unicorn
Tracy Chevalier

I finished this book very recently, and I enjoyed reading it! I highly recommend it to those who like historical fiction. I've written a review here: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/life ... -chevalier

taking place in a haunting, gothic yet sound romantic setting in Prague, another YA book filled with adventures and forbidden love bet. a devil and an angel. i like that the heroine Karou is spunky with blue hair! there is an age old war bet. monsters and angels...chimaera Madrigal and Angel Akiva met on a battlefield..Madrigal saved Akiva's life and years later they meet again and fell in love. their forbidden love was discovered and Madrigal was sentenced to death her soul will not be reincarnated but a powerful friend save her soul and reincarnated her in a human body and named her Karou means Hope in chimaera language. Her memories however was sealed in a wish bone that will soon be unlock when her 17 yrs old human self cross path with angel Akiva who became vindictive towards the monsters who killed his love years ago. It was an exciting read for me, i heard this will be adapted into a movie as well. This will the first installment of the trilogy series. SHOW ME YOUR TEETH! and you'll get your wish! this is not your ordinary tooth fairy story.

Kitchen confidential
by Anthony Bourdain

Its kinda shocking to know what Tony had to go through to reach where he is now. I originally thought he was one of those chef that was a superstar ever since he was young. But he started really from the bottom and climbed his way up to stardom.

Am gonna be reading the next book.

love! love! love! this paranormal adventure..it has a gothic feel to it. considering that the plot is based on the legends surrounding jack the ripper. Aurora Deveraux or Rory as she preferred to be called went to study in England, where a near death experience due to a piece of beef i think open a new eye so to speak for Rory and she's is not the only one. Her sudden gift put her in harms way of the so called new jack the ripper that is terrorizing modern london. the story was witty, even humorous despite the sinister atmosphere i would love to see this one adapted on screen.

the sequel to the Halo series..follows angel Bethany's ordeal in hell while Xavier is getting help from other angels like Gabriel and Ivy and even Michael to rescue Beth out from the pits of hell...while devil Jake aka Azakiel is doing everything he can to seduce and entice Bethany to be his consort and rule his piece of circle in hell, he becomes obsessed with Beth that even big daddy Lucifer is not happy about it. ugh! i have to say there are times that this love triangle is kind of annoying me. and Xavier is this non sparkling vampire version of Edward in twilight minus the creepiness.he3x! on the other hand i feel bad for those poor souls suffering in hell, esp. Hannah and Tucker.
