I just finished reading Beautiful Creatures. It's a supernatural-mortal romance in a quaint Southern American setting. It's like True Blood but with less gore and sex and really more for young adults. The plot is simple and pop-ish but it's entertaining my imagination.

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand...it is a nephilim/human pairing romantic kind of story...like i've mentioned before i was never fond of this kind of pairing but i do got teary eyed with Clara and Tucker's moment when they had to let go of each other to fulfill Clara's "purpose" on earth. There are still some questions left unanswered here that left me confuse and wondering what is really going on and since this is a series i guess I need to pick up the sequel soon but not right away coz over all i was not that intrigued about Clara's purpose. I guess there is no evil character here yet except for that one angel of sorrow that was a black wing angel and too bad he was around for just a short time towards the end. Otherwise this is just one big build up to that one vision that Clara is having that she thinks is her purpose on earth.

This has been on my ebook shelf for quite sometime now and still haven't started on it. I was hoping to finish reading it first before the movie came out. But i got feed backs from other fans of this series that the movie was good so far. And I saw the trailer and it looks great.

Yep! I liked how they made the movie. It has wit, not all mushy. And the actors were great too! Hindi sila b-movie actors. Watch it and tell us what you think.

Same opinion here. Since I couldn't wait to finish the book before watching the movie, I had to read and watch alternately, watching only the parts that i've already read. Haha.
