Amazing story! Very unique! The film was wonderful too! But this is one of those few books where I found the movie to be better than the book bec it just brought everything to life, kind of like "The Time Travellers's Wife."

Rosie the elephant was very endearing...i can understand why the movie was better than the book version. in a circus setting and those animal characters and circus performers really needed to be brought to life on film..i believe the production team behind the film wanted to make it as authentic as possible.
