Hi memnoch, oh wow, i am a die hard fan of jeffery deaver! In fact i actually have the complete set of lincoln rhyme novels and i just finished his last one, the burning wire. I havnt read Carte Blanche but If you like Lindsay's Dexter, i know you will like Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme series too! To me deaver is the father of forensic mysteries, he already wrote the first one The Bone Collector even before CSI started the craze on forensics!

Here is my post about it pala.... latest-book-you%CA%B9ve-finished,-was-it-good--t22s20.html#p678

Hi memnoch and wanda...wow you guys are way ahead in this genre...im going to start on the dexter series next..after i finish a game of thrones...i will look into this jeffrey deaver's lincoln rhyme series...wanda you mentioned "the bone collector" that he wrote...was that the film adaptation of the same title starring angelina jolie and denzel washington? i like the movie so the book should be better with the more in depth details and all.

Yes, this is the one! The book was definitely better for me, and so were the books after it...too bad they didnt make THOSE into movies....

I'm planning to read this and I can't find a copy of this book. The cover is a Victorian photo with a levitating girl.

Here's a quote that I found from the web:
‎"I used to dream about escaping my ordinary life, but my life was never ordinary. I had simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was. Likewise, I never imagined that home might be something I would miss."
— Ransom Riggs (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children)

Hi malot1182! Oh if its at fully booked or national it might be better to buy from there. I find Book Depository to be great for books i cant find here bec shipping takes time, i think anywhere bet 2 to 6 weeks, and the price is almost the same. My last order took 4 weeks. But note this one is hardcover though.
