i swear every time i try to read in public i get panic attacks and i do not understand what i'm reading at all. dati sinusubukan ko magbasa on the bus kasi i got a two-hour commute and time's a wastin', at sawa na akong manood ng the expendables which they endlessly play (kafkaesque na nga eh) pero di na. is it just me or do people look at you funny when they see you with a book? and i'm not even reading smut (my friend did though. gutsy!) baka paranoid lang talaga ako.

naalala ko tuloy yung lola ko, "ano ba yan, wala kang ginagawa. basa ka lang nang basa." nagbabasa nga eh, di may ginagawa. ano ba konsepto nila ng "may ginagawa"? nanonood ng tv?

I'm sorry to hear about the panic attacks. But I understand what you mean about getting all those looks. :D

As for what your lola said, I get that from my aunt. haha Pag kasi hindi libro kaharap ko, laptop naman. Pero ang linya ni mama eh, "You need to stop reading/being on the pc so much. Kailangan mo ng social life. Tignan mo ko, I go on trips." etc, etc, etc.

Feeling ko tuloy minsan epic ang pagka dysfunctional ko. :D

Ah yes, bakit nga ba ang tawag nila sa pagbabasa ay "walang ginagawa" ? Nakakasakit sila ng damdamin ano? Hehehe.

Mejo weird nga tingin nila sayo kapag may hawak kang libro. Endangered species na ata tayo. Basta walang iistorbo sa akin while im reading kapag nasa labas ako, okay lang. I feel at peace kahit gaano kaingay paligid ko. Subukan lang nila ako guluhin, ipang hahampas ko yung bag ko sa kanila heheh. Naging violent ba?

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf! :D I've only read there very few times but they've been one of the best times i've read. I can concentrate more there and get absorbed into the book :)

@ Coffee Bean Katipunan-Its very quiet there especially during 8 to 10 in the morning (when there's not much students) . Its best if you order their best seller red velvet hot chocolate while reading your favorite book ;) Andddddd-- once you're finished- you can also go to FullyBooked as its right beside CoffeeBean hehehe :D
