Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

I just joined thanks to the invite of one of your respected members, and I found myself a bit surprised that Wicked Lovely
a popular book in its own right is not listed here.

Anyway this is my version of the basic background of this 5 part Series

Wicked lovely is the story of Aislinn a mere human girl who by both faith and misfortune was taken from her normal
human life and plunged into the world of Fairies, its politics, kingdoms and hidden affairs taking her into the worlds
most inner depths while fighting for her love and the love of the one that plunged her into the chaos known as Fae.

Now most of you would say that this is a children's fantasy book but understand that these are not the Fairies of
most of today's literature where they are depicted as small human like creatures with oh so cute wings.
These fairies are more like the creatures you'd picture lurking the night, creatures of nightmarish traits with a
taste for blood, your darkest emotions, your joy, your order and chaos waging war with one another while struggling
to make a balance with one another when the Kings and Queens of different kingdoms themselves are out of balance.

The books of these series are as follows: Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange, Fragile Eternity, Radiant Shadows and Darkest Mercy
NOTE: Not all the books are about Aislinn she is only one of the major characters of the books.
Some of the books are about the people that are connected to her and/or connected to where
she belongs to

Hi Ravensclarity :D
Thank you for sharing this series. I believe this will qualify under the children and young adult section. Perhaps the admin can move this one there. I have the first book in my e-shelf for quite some time already but until now have not started on it.
I am a bit hesitant to start on this one since I am a huge fan of Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series. Although i'm sure this one has a totally different plot but still based on the Faerie lore. I handle the Ya section here so I hope you can post more YA books that you have read and what are your thoughts about it. Welcome to RP where at least one is reading like mad! hehehehe!

Thanks Laila, sorry I'm fairly new here I just joined less than an hour ago and I see your point I read the books listed in fiction and literature and I do believe you are right well I don't mind the admin moving this and thank you for your reply btw.

I haven't read that Iron Fey Series yet could you give me a basic background of it or is there already a summary somewhere around here.
Well if your a fan of Very Complicated Relationships and Unavoidable conflict set in a world of fantasy meets reality you should definitely read this.
